Yes, just a few more days and we’re off to Rotterdam to attend & speak at APEX World. If you still don’t know for sure which sessions you should attend while in Rotterdam, here’s what we’ll be talking about:
1. From 0 to APEX – A guide to successful APEXify new employees
Hiring an experienced APEX developer can sometimes be a real challenge. Dietmar will discuss about the guidelines that we also use internally to introduce new employees to Oracle APEX. This session is based on our best practices that apply to both technical and non-technical people. After all, our website which is built in APEX, is mainly maintained by Cristian, our marketing colleague.
So, if you’re interested in learning how to onboard your new employee(s) and how to effectively introduce them to Oracle APEX, make sure to attend Dietmar’s presentation on March 30th (session 3.3) in La Fontaine Room.
2. Unlocking the power of the APEX plugin architecture
Without going into too much detail I can say that in this session I’ll be discussing about the structure of region plugins for Oracle APEX and the best practices used for designing plugins. Furthermore, I’ll walk you through the whole process, from requirements analysis, to plugin release, usage and maintenance.
We’ll use a couple of real world examples to highlight the points mentioned above, so if you’re interested in learning more about building plugins for Oracle APEX make sure that you don’t miss my session on March 30th (session 4.2) in the Odyssee Room. I hope we gave you some compelling reasons to attend either (or why not both) our sessions. Looking forward to see you all in Rotterdam!
